We recommend a C5 vaccination for dogs, given annually. This contains Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Kennel Cough (viral and bacterial).
Heartworm is the other disease that should be included in a prevention program for dogs. Heartworm is a parasite transferred between dogs by mosquitoes. We generally use the convenience of the Proheart once a year injection that can be given at the same time as their vaccination.
For cat vaccinations we routinely use F3 vaccine also given annually. This vaccine contains Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu (Herpes and Calicivirus).
